Rose Dominiano was chosen as one of 30 artists to participate in Nipper 2005, a public art project created to raise funds for 5 Moorestown non-profits – the Evergreens, the Lutheran Home, the Moorestown Historical Society, the Perkins Center for the Arts and the Community House.

30 five-foot high fiberglass RCA Nipper dog statues were placed on the streets of Moorestown, NJ from June to September. The event ended with an auction on October 9, 2005.

“Philadelphia Nipper” featured stain-glass mosaic depictions of Philly landmarks and icons, such as the Art Museum, Independence Hall, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, and the LOVE statue.

“Philadelphia Nipper” took top honors at the auction selling for $15,000. The total amount raised was $132,650. For more information go to www.nipper2005.org.
